boato pack s.r.l

Boato Pack was formed in 1957 and was taken over by the current owner in 1991. A development programme began with the aim to create a modular highly flexible range of multi-lane machines. The focus was to allow the manufacturing proecess tob e closely controlled and requiring a low level of operator involvement. The key to this was temperature control across the web; control of web tension; control of web centring; even pressure across the web for both the horizontal and vertical rollers adn control of all functions from the PLC.

Today the machinery is based on three web widths

  • the Europa up to 150mm
  • the Optimist up to 250mm
  • the Tornado up to 450mm

Boato Pack offers machinery for both sachet (4 seals) and stick pack (centre back seal) with the ability to offer flexible packaging widths making the machinery very suitable for contract packing customers who need to run a wide range of products.

Each base machine can be fitted with a range of filling options:

  • GPV feeding system for powders & granules. High speed product discharge via servomotors
  • SSS volumetric feed system with oscillating movement for free-flowing powders and granules. Servo controlled

Boato Pack is the European distributor for Sanko in Japan, the original inventor of stick pack machines. Their machines with patented PLC technology, range for single tube machines up to 20 lanes for granules and powders.
They are also the European distributor for Mitsuhashi sachet and dispensing machinery. The equipment offers a system to load strings of sachets directly from a sachet machine in bandolier form directly into boxes or winding on to bobbins. Their dispensing machines can feed an individual sachet taken from the bandolier form and fed into another packaging format such as pouch or pot eg: sachets in a "Pot Noodle".
